Longaberger Basket Bingo

The Golden Connections Community Center is hosting a Longaberger Basket Bingo fundraiser on Saturday, May 11th at its facility, located at 20 Gotham Place in Red Lion. Doors will open at 12:00 p.m. and the bingo will start at 2:00 p.m.

The cost for a ticket will be $12 in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling Heather Goebeler, Executive Director, at 717-244-7229 or online.

Your ticket cost will include 20 games of regular bingo. Special Games, raffle tickets, and small games of chance will also be available for purchase. Come hungry because food products will also be sold.

All proceeds from the bingo and the concessions will be used to provide programs and services to older adults in our community.

The Golden Connections Community Center will be hosting its annual “Tee it High & Let it Fly” Golf Tournament on Friday, September 13th at the Pleasant Valley Golf Club in Stewartstown, PA. Sponsorship Opportunities Include:

Tournament Sponsor $2,000 – (2) free foursomes, (8) golfer fun packs, company signs at the registration table and beer stations, information in the golf program, vocal recognition at the event and a (1) year Platinum Sponsorship with the GCCC.

Lunch Sponsor $1,000 – (1) free foursome, (4) golfer fun packs, a sign at the luncheon, information in the golf program and vocal recognition at the event.

Breakfast Sponsor $750 – (1) free foursome, (4) golfer fun packs, a sign at the breakfast table, and information in the golf program.

Cart Sponsor $750 – (1) free foursome, (4) golfer fun packs, a sign on each golf cart, and information in the golf program.

Hole Sponsor $500 – (1) free foursome (4) golfer fun packs, a sign on one green and information in the golf program.

Tee Sponsor $100 – (1) sign on a tee box.

Don’t wait to register your team of golfers! The entry fee for the tournament is $320 per foursome and includes greens fees, cart, pastry breakfast and lunch.

In conjunction with that event the center will be holding a 50/50 cash raffle. Tickets for this raffle are on sale NOW! All of the money received between now and September will be tracked, and the winner will be announced at the Awards and Prize Ceremony for the Golf Tournament. You DO NOT have to be present to win! Tickets are $5.00 for 1 ticket or $10.00 for 3 tickets. Take a chance at one of the biggest 50/50 cash raffles we have ever hosted!
